My approach is grounded, practical, and focused on creating a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard and understood. I have a deep passion for people and a genuine desire to meet them where they are.
It’s an honor to walk alongside individuals, couples, and families during some of their most challenging moments. Like everyone else, I’m a work in progress—and I continue to learn and grow through the work I do with my clients. I hold a Master of Science in Counseling and am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in both California and Arizona.
Counseling can provide you and your family with insight to move through difficulties more productively. Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety or just need someone to support you through a difficult season in life, as your therapist, I can help you find a path to healing and growth.
I have provided mental health services to at-risk teens and counseling to families in need within various healthcare systems. My work with teen clients is very dear to me. I enjoy getting to know and understand what motivates them for success. Watching those in the teen years meet personal goals is very rewarding for me. Through family therapy, I can facilitate bridging the relational gap between teens and parents.
Navigating through feelings during divorce and separation can be overwhelmingly painful and disorienting; feelings may feel unmanageable and out of control. During such critical transitions, it's not uncommon to experience heightened feelings of anxiety and depression. As your therapist, the goal is to provide a supportive space where you can work through these emotions, helping you to move forward empowered and with renewed self-esteem.
Divorce often prompts a deep reflection on personal roles and relationships. In our counseling sessions, we'll explore these aspects, helping you to identify and minimize defensive behaviors that might be holding you back. Together, we can work towards integrating these insights into your life to build a an independent identity and path of profound personal growth.
I created and managed a community bereavement program for children, teens and families. Losing a loved one impacts everyone differently. I work with parents to address the topics of death, grief and loss in a manner that is developmentally appropriate for their children. Bereavement is a journey that benefits with patience and support. Counseling can provide that.
In addition to my private practice, I have provided crisis mental health counseling to individuals of all ages. When families are faced with crisis with a loved one, it can be overwhelming and difficult to navigate. I help those working towards stability while helping family understand what is supportive and helpful.
